There is no access by lift to seating in our balcony. If you are wheelchair user you may find the front row access seats quite cramped due to them being close to a pillar.
Our gorgeous theatre opened in 1900 and still has a lot of the original features including the balcony and original shop-front windows. Despite often being described as a small hidden gem, we actually seat 300 people, but our layout allows for an intimate setting that lets you feel closer to the performance.

THIS is FLOYD proudly presents their 2026 UK tour ‘Through the Years’ consisting of songs from Pink Floyd’s celebrated back catalogue, and there will be plenty of surprises.
With sell-out theatre shows across the UK, THIS is FLOYD is a premier touring tribute band featuring the authentic sound of Pink Floyd delivered by exceptional musicians. Each show includes a custom designed thematic light show with spectacular laser effects. A large circular video screen delivering a visual feast. Accumulating to give audiences a dizzying, moving and memorable experience that is truly unforgettable.
We always attract an amazing crowd on our visits to The Y Theatre, so we’re really looking forward to performing our new Show. For 2026 it includes brand new songs, and new lighting effects.
