The Show
THIS is FLOYD proudly presents their 2026 UK tour ‘Through the Years’ consisting of songs from Pink Floyd’s celebrated back catalogue, and there will be plenty of surprises.
With sell-out theatre shows across the UK, THIS is FLOYD is a premier touring tribute band featuring the authentic sound of Pink Floyd delivered by exceptional musicians. Each show includes a custom designed thematic light show with spectacular laser effects. A large circular video screen delivering a visual feast. Accumulating to give audiences a dizzying, moving and memorable experience that is truly unforgettable.
We’re really looking forward to performing our new Show for our first visit to The Mowlem Theatre. For 2026 it includes brand new songs, new lighting effects and new musicians on Keyboards & Drums.
The Venue
The Mowlem Theatre was opened in 1967 and replaced the smaller original Victorian building which had stood for over 100 years. Situated on the sea front at Swanage at the junction of two of the main shopping streets, The Mowlem has a combined programme of typically over 200 film performances each year in addition to 60-100 nights of live theatre, comprising local schools and amateur societies as well as incoming professional productions.
Within the building there are two function rooms available for hire, plus on the ground floor there are various shops, cafes and bars as well.
The Showbar, Taproom and Bar, upstairs at The Mowlem, is open to the public and boasts the best views in Swanage!
We serve a range of local craft beers from Eight Arch Brewery in Wimborne, ales from Hattie Brown’s Brewery here in Swanage and Purbeck Cider, as well as spirits, quality wine and soft drinks. Open from 5.30 – 9.30pm Monday – Saturday and later for live shows and special events!

LIVE EVENTS OPENING TIMES
The Box Office opens 45 minutes before any live performance.
For Live events, the box office shuts 5 minutes before the event starts in order to call clearance so that the event can start! If you need assistance during this time, a staff member on the first floor will be able to help.
